Final Attempt of Music Video.

On Tuesday 5th January, we began to start filming our final attempt of our music video. We set up a small set based in the back room of Abbie's house, we made it very simplistic to relate to the song and it's pace. We wanted our main girl to look very innocent, naive & natural, we achieved this look by putting her in a little flower print dress and black tights, with her hair in loose curls & hardly any make up on. We did encounter some lighting problems whilst filming due to our shadows appearing in the actual video footage, but by experimenting with different angles we finally managed to find angles which produced the perfect lighting. We also had problems with trying to do some trackin shots, as we did not have a dolly we had to attempt to do it with our hands, this failed after many attempts. As music video's need to have a variety of locations & costume changes, we filmed a bit later in the afternoon in a different part of the house with our girl in a different costume, this is to collow the conventions of a normal music video. We did not really encounter any issues while editing the video apart from trying to fit the music perfectly in time with the girl lip syncing. We believe after many attempts, our final music video really shows our efforts and we are very pleased with the final outcome.
